I obtained Ph.D. in Economics from the Center of Economic Research and Graduate Education (CERGE) in 1999 and Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2003. Between 2005-09, I did my post graduate studies in International Economics at the Bielefeld Graduate School of Economics and Management (BiGSEM) under the guidance of Professor Volker Böhm.
I joined the College of Staten Island of the City University of New York in August 2009. In Fall 2016 I have been tenured and promoted to a level of an Associate Professor. My current teaching and research interests include (1) finance, growth and development, (2) between and within country income inequality; and (3) financial globalization and endogenous fluctuations.
